Slab Panorama
The Slab concept originated from a single fireplace (the Slab 30) that was launched in 2000 into a predominantly traditional market. It was an instant success, a result of its truly innovative nature and refreshing aesthetic. The slab introduced many firsts to the industry; the first to arrange a fuel effect on a horizontal slab; the first ceramic pebbles; the first to use Corian. The Slab Panorama with fire dish is part of this innovation and development – this fire is ideal for the larger room where a more dominant fireplace is required. The Fire Dish as shown is available as an option at an additional cost of £175. There is no need for a floor hearth, although a hearth is available if required. The Slab is also available with a No Vent Glass Canopy - this allows installation without requiring an air vent and costs an additional £99.

This fireplace has a satin stainless steel firebox with a 100mm deep Corian surround, offering minimal projection into the room with maximum impact. This particular fire is shown with cameo white surround and driftwood in dish. With no need for a floor hearth, this fireplace will enhance the natural lines of the room while making the fire feel closer. The Fire Dish as shown is available as an option at an additional cost of £175. The Vision is a smaller version of the Panoramic. None of the Slab Models - “Panorama”, “Vision” or “Hole in the Wall” (HIW) require a hearth.

Slab Electronic (Slab30e)
The Electronic is an electric fire that embodies the same overall visual aesthetic as the Slab 30 gas fire. The contemporary flame-effect is created through the use of LED’s combined with a crystal and Pebble or Driftwood fuel effect in a satin stainless steel firebox, which reflects and defuses the pulsing patterns of light. A touchpad control is used to blend the colours of the translucent fuel bed, from cool blue, through warming pink to hot red. The electronic has a thermostatically controlled 2kW fan heater which doubles as a source of ambient air in the summer. It can be installed into a conventional chimney breast, a stud-wall or recessed into the inner brickwork of a cavity wall.

Storm
Storm is the definitive hole-in-wall gas fireplace. It may be minimal in its outlook, but it doesn’t hold back on features, making it the best-selling remote control hole-in-wall. The frame is constructed so that there are no mitres or visible joins – the method used for welding and polishing suggests that it has been machined from the solid. Storm is easy to install and is designed to fit most solid fuel chimneys. It usually does not require a separate hearth or additional room ventilation, if the optional canopy is specified.

Image Electric
Image creates the perfect illusion. It appears to be a see through hole-in-wall fireplace. It actually needs no fireplace opening at all and can be mounted on any flat wall – or it can be floor mounted. The see-through appearance is produced by a mirrored back-panel, which also helps create the illusion of a much larger fuel bed. The fuel bed incorporates translucent “crystals” with ceramic pebbles to create an outstanding contemporary effect. The floating hearth may be specified in either a contrasting or a matching Corian finish – choose from four colours.

Frame 22 and Frame 30
Frame is the latest in hole-in-wall design and incorporates everything that Brilliant know about gas fire design. It is available in two firebox sizes, a compact 22” or a 30” (see illustration) wide panoramic. Frame creates the hole-in-wall fireplace you’ve been looking for. It offers a choice of fuel-beds. Charcoal, Pebbles, Driftwood (see below) – or a mixture such as Driftwood inner pieces with a Pebbles outer edge.
Constructed from high quality stainless steel, this fire incorporates a four-sided fire trim, for that finishing touch. The floating hearth can be stainless steel or a choice of DuPont Corian colours. Made from faux limestone, the Fire Dish is an extra cost option that fits both models and creates a superb fire bowl effect. The Frame is also available with a No Vent Glass Canopy - this allows installation without requiring an air vent and costs an additional £99.
