The Elite
Lovely moving pictures of wispy golden flames leap from the random coal bed of the Elite decorative gas fire. Realism, in the truest sense of the word. The unique design of the Elite has presented Magiglo with an award winning appliance and a best selling fire. The appearance of the Elite can be transformed with the use of a pebble fuel bed. A “modern” look, from the most popular fire in the Magiglo range. Available in a variety of models and sizes, from standard 16” and 18” insets, to Thermobox models up to the large 22” Elite and the Imago Elite version for both radiant and convected heat. The smaller 16” Elite inset fires have the benefit of not normally requiring any additional ventilation.

The Elite Thermo Box
Thermobox – The addition of a ceramic Thermobox to the Elite gas fire can result in a boost to the heat output by as much as 30%. This results in the 16” Elite Thermobox providing 3kW of heat and still not requiring any additional ventilation, whilst the 18” model can provide up to 3.4kW of heat output. For additional installation versatility, the 16” Elite Thermobox is also suitable for class 2, 5” flues.

The Imago Elite
Increase the overall heat output from the Elite gas fire with natural convected warmth. The Imago not only heats the air, it also gives complete control over the convected output, which can be reduced without losing any of the natural wispy golden flames. The Imago Elite is available in two sizes; 16”/18” which can provide a heat output of up to 3.25kW and the 20”/22” which can provide a heat output of up to 4.25kW. The smaller model does not normally require additional ventilation.

The Duo
For all-round installation versatility the Magiglo Duo is the answer. Winner of the Best Gas Fire Award in 1998, the duo is at home in a class 2 flue, in a standard solid fuel fireplace and even in situations where no chimney exists at all – with the fan-flued Duo Power. Ease of installation of the Duo is guaranteed, as neither drilling of the surrounding material, nor additional ventilation is normally necessary. The Duo is available with both coal and pebble fuel beds and a variety of fascias, fronts and trims.

The Duo Power
The fan-flue Duo Power is specially designed for the home with no flue, and can be either rear or side vented. Plus, because of the capability of the fan, the flue can, if necessary, make right-angle turns, and be up to 7 metres from the fire.

Castella Basket Fire
Probably the most versatile basket within the Magiglo range. This is available in 18” and 21” models, with a choice of leg finishes and with or without a solid backplate. The leg finishes are traditional black, solid brass and the more stylish chrome finish.
The appearance of the Basket Fire can be transformed with the use of a pebble fuel bed. All Castella Baskets are suitable for a pebble fuel bed using natural gas only.

The Balmoral Basket Fire

The Urn Basket Fire
The Magiglo basket fire range also comprises the substantial Urn baskets, available as both Large (22”) and Small (16”) models. The name is derived from the urn motif depicted on their rounded backplates. As with the Castella, all these baskets are available with a number of control options. A hand-held, battery operated Remote Control, a wall-mounted Optimum Control, or the standard manual control. - Keeping pace with modern trends, all Magiglo baskets are also available with “realistic” pebble fuel beds, for natural gas only.
